Documentation

Get access to the latest documentation for your 

SYNCHROTACT equipment on the myABB business 

portal.

1. Go to https://myportal.abb.com.

2. Click Log in

• If you have an ABB account, you can sign in 

with your e-mail and password.

• If you do not have an ABB account, 

click Sign up (see below)

3. After succesful log in, the myABB dashboard 

opens.

4. On the myABB dashboard, find MyExcitation and 

follow the registration process (see below).

5. Once registered, select GO TO ABB LIBRARY.

6. In the left-hand menu, 

select Category > ABB 

products > Power Electronics > 

SYNCHROTACT 5

7. Select your documentation. You can search 

for documents by categories and by document kind.

8. Download the documents to your computer.

How to register to the myABB business portal:

1. Select Sign up below the LOGIN button.

2. Fill out the registration form.

3. Select Sign up.

4. ABB sends an e-mail for the activation of your ABB 

account.

5. In the e-mail, select ACTIVATE ACCOUNT.

How to register to the MyExcitation widget:

6. In the MyExcitation widget in the myABB 

business portal, select GET ACCESS.

7. Fill out the registration form.
