Features
Enclosed Altivar™ ATS480 Soft Start Systems combine the durability and advanced functionality of Altivar ATS480 Soft Starters with genuine Schneider Electric components including circuit breakers, operating mechanisms, control relays, contactors, and terminal blocks, to ensure reliable soft start operation for your application. These are packaged in Type 1, Type 12, or Type 3R enclosures to provide industry-leading performance in a packaged solution. Installation becomes quick and easy since all that is required for operation is mounting the unit and connecting to the supply and motor.
Altivar Soft Start Systems can be configured based upon exact specifications to optimize the unit for specific application requirements from 208-575VAC and up to 600HP. The Enclosed ATS480 features coordinated short circuit current ratings up to 100kA (208-460VAC) and 50kA (575VAC). For higher capacities up to 1200HP or non-standard options, a custom engineered solution can be provided based on the proven designs and components of the Enclosed Altivar Soft Start family.
