Yokogawa and KBC’s Users Conference, dubbed YNOW2024, will take place in person for the first time in a half decade from Oct. 28-30. YNOW2024 will occur at the Hilton Americas-Houston in downtown Houston.
Yokogawa Corporation of America, based in Sugarland, Texas, is cohosting the event along with KBC Advanced Technologies Ltd, a Yokogawa company headquartered in Walton on Thames in England.
YNOW2024’s theme will be “Impact Your World!” and it will show attendees how innovation, partnership and industrial automation technologies empower users to positively influence operations, business, community and the planet. For the first time in five years, process control and automation professionals will get to see the latest products and solutions, talk to experts from Yokogawa, KBC and other partner companies, and attend sessions on key concepts and technologies, including cybersecurity, energy transition, asset management, space and operations management. At the YNOW2021 virtual event, attendees learned from leading global industry experts how to accelerate digital transformations to create autonomous operations that can navigate the energy transition, and those sessions are still available on demand.
Conference sessions are divided into five tracks:
Industrial Automation to Industrial Autonomy: Experience how autonomous operations apply new technologies in agile, resilient, continuously optimizing environments. These sessions about this topic will describe experience with AI, Cloud, IIoT and Digital Devices, robotics and digital maturity assessments in applications such as integrated operations centres and autonomous plants.
Operations Management and Production Excellence: Immerse yourself in the future where digital processes enhance resilience, safety, and operational discipline. Experts will relate best practices in areas such as advanced process control (APC), measurement and analytical excellence, alarm rationalization, control room design, control of work, operations management and functional safety management.
Lifecycle Management: See how end-users can simplify migration and upgrade planning to keep systems up-to-date, optimized, and secure while minimizing maintenance budgeting—often with zero downtime. Speakers will detail successes with cybersecurity, network management, migrations, field instruments, analytical services, upgrades, and virtualization projects.
Asset Management: Discover how to fine tune all assets from process units to digital IT/OT systems to realize their maximum performance and lifecycle value. Topics will include Asset Health Insights and the management of data, field instruments, analyzers and plant resources.
Solutions for the Energy Transition: Learn how to bring decarbonization to life through expertise and leading cloud-based software solutions to optimize process operations, while understanding how to navigate the dynamic regulatory landscape of tomorrow’s energy.
Yokogawa’s exhibit will provide attendees with a comprehensive view of the latest advancements in industrial automation and digital transformation. The exhibit will demonstrate the integration of traditional control systems with emerging technologies such as AI, VR and robotics, offering visitors a glimpse into the future of industrial operations.
The Yokogawa Users Conference will also feature 20 sponsor companies that will present their latest innovations in AI, analytics and a variety of instrumentation products, which will offer attendees a diverse range of solutions to explore.
Users will be able to see how the combination of Yokogawa's deep industry expertise and the cutting-edge technologies from sponsor companies creates new opportunities to enhance their operations, optimize performance and drive sustainable growth.
