GE Multilin B30 Multiple Sections Low Impedance Busbar Protection
The Multilin B30 bus protection relay features integrated protection, visualization and metering for LV, MV, HV and EHV busbars, providing cost-effective, feature-focused centralized or distributed busbar protection scheme. Use the B30 to protect busbars with up to 6 feeders 2-zones (conventional CT inputs) or up to 16 feeders 6-zones (with process bus module) with up to six three-phase differential zones. The Multilin B30 relay is a cost-effective alternative to high-impedance schemes, ideal for breaker-and-half bus schemes, with integrated feeder backup protection.
High speed differential protection algorithm for sub-cycle trip times of 0.75 power cycle with CT saturation detection with only 2ms of saturation-free current
