Overview

The VSR8000 is a fully rugged secure router featuring Juniper Networks® Junos® vSRX Virtual Firewall and eight 1000BASE-T Ethernet ports.

 It is a commercial off the shelf (COTS) SWaP-optimized line replaceable unit (LRU) version of the recently launched VSR347D 3U VPX secure router.

 The VSR8000 is a rugged standalone COTS system suitable for a wide range of operating environments.

Juniper Networks Junos vSRX provides a wealth of features including IPsec VPN, NAT, QoS, and full routing capabilities, to name just a few.

Tech Insertion: for existing RTR8GE installations

The VSR8000 allows existing RTR8GE users to seamlessly integrate new, higher performance hardware technologies while retaining form, fit and function and application software compatibility.

Rugged and ready

With high levels of environmental qualifications, the VSR8000 meets extreme demands presented by altitude,

 decompression, overpressure, shock, and vibration. It is qualified to MIL-STD-810H for rain, sand, and salt fog. 

This secure router can be utilized on a wide range of applications, including edge of network security, command and control, 

fire control, electronic warfare, radar, surveillance, situational awareness, imaging, AI and autonomy, rugged industrial and transportation, and other high-performance embedded computing applications.
