Installation Method

1.Power Isolation:Safety Prerequisite。

Power down the target monitoring cabinet and disconnect DC supply lines to prevent electrical short-circuiting during terminal wiring.

2.Converter Attachment:Mechanical Mounting。

Secure the WHF3006M converter onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail or surface-mount plate inside a weatherproof field junction box (IP65 rated or higher).

3.Coaxial Cable Interconnect:Sensor Connection。

Connect the extension cable from the proximity probe to the coaxial input connector of the WHF3006M. Hand-tighten the coaxial fitting and seal the junction with heat-shrink tubing to prevent electrical grounding loops.

4.Terminal Block Wiring:Output & Power Wiring。

Connect the 24V DC power supply lines and signal output wires to the screw terminals. Ensure cable shielding is grounded at one end only to avoid ground loops.

Operating Instructions

Pre-Power Verification: Confirm that probe cable length matches the converter's calibrated system length (e.g., 5-meter or 9-meter total system length).

Gap Voltage Calibration: Measure the initial DC gap voltage output at the converter terminals while adjusting the sensor probe position relative to the shaft target until reaching the specified mid-scale voltage (typically -10 V DC).

Signal Monitoring: Verify dynamic AC vibration signals using an oscilloscope or online condition monitoring software during machine start-up.

Routine Maintenance: Periodically inspect coaxial connections for tightness, moisture ingress, or mechanical stress during scheduled plant outages.
