Maintenance Tips

SSD Reliability: Because these units use SSDs, they are much more resistant to ship vibration than the older MP7900 units. However, if the system becomes sluggish, check the SSD health as they have a finite write-cycle life in data-heavy automation logs.

CMOS Battery: If the computer fails to boot or loses the system time (which can desync it from the Redundant Net), the CR2032 coin cell battery on the motherboard likely needs replacement.

Dust Accumulation: Despite its "hardened" design, the oversized cooling system can pull in dust from the console. Annual internal cleaning is recommended to prevent CPU throttling.
