Product Introduction / Overview

The ADLINK NuPRO-595 Series is a classic industrial-grade, full-size PICMG 1.0 Single Board Computer (SBC) designed for legacy industrial automation, test and measurement systems, workstation upgrades, and embedded controlling environments.

Featuring a Socket 370 processor interface (supporting Intel Pentium III and Celeron processors), the NuPRO-595 routes signals through a passive backplane architecture via ISA and PCI golden finger connectors.

 It provides high operational stability, integrated display controller capabilities, and comprehensive serial/parallel I/O interfaces built to withstand harsh, long-term industrial deployment.

Operating Instructions

Backplane Insertion: Turn off main system power. Align the card edge gold fingers with the designated master PICMG 1.0 slot on the passive backplane, then press down firmly until fully seated.

CPU and Fan Installation: Secure a compatible Socket 370 processor and mount a CPU cooler fan. Connect the 3-pin CPU fan cable to the onboard CPU_FAN header.

Jumper Configuration: Set onboard jumpers (e.g., FSB frequency selection, CMOS clear, RS-232/422/485 serial mode) according to the system documentation before initial boot-up.

BIOS Setup: Press DEL during POST to access the Award BIOS utility for boot sequence setup, IDE configuration, and memory address reservations.
