Operating Instructions

Slide the module evenly into the guide rails until the backplane connector engages firmly.

Hand-tighten top and bottom captive thumbscrews on the front plate.

SFP Installation:

Insert compatible Hirschmann Fast Ethernet SFP transceivers into the SFP slots until they latch.

Remove rubber dust caps and attach fiber optic or LC/copper cables.

Hot-Swap Operation: The module can be installed or removed while the host switch is energized. Network topology changes will automatically update via the switch management software (e.g., HiOS or Classic Software).
