ELGi Launches the EQ Series of Oil-Lubricated Direct-Drive Air Compressors in Europe

The EQ ‘Elgi Quest’ Series to deliver reliability and performance gains to the 11–22 kW segment

Waterloo, Belgium, 30 November 2023: ELGi Compressors Europe, a subsidiary of ELGi Equipments Limited, one of the world’s leading air compressor manufacturers, has introduced the EQ Series, a new range of oil-lubricated, direct-drive, screw air compressors. The EQ Series is designed to provide superior performance and reliability to small and medium-sized operations that traditionally use small belt-driven air compressors.

In line with ELGi's customer-centric approach, the EQ ‘ELGi Quest’ Series, is built for customers requiring reliable compressed air at improved flows at the right value. The EQ Series oil-lubricated, gear-driven screw air compressor is available from 11 to 22 kW at fixed and variable speeds.

The new EQ Series of Oil-Lubricated Direct-Drive Screw Compressors:

Manufactured at the ELGi Air Center and designed as an oil-lubricated direct-drive compressor available in multiple capacities from 11-22kW

- Fixed or variable-speed drive available for all units in the series

- Equipped with a reliable ELGi IE3 motor

- Available in 7, 8, 9.5, and 12.5 bar pressure variants

- Design temperature of 50 degrees Celsius, ensuring superior cooling and reliability

- Pre-filters at all air inlets

- Long service interval of 4000 hours (intake filter, oil, oil filter, air/oil separator element)

Best in class warranty: six years on airend, five years on other main components, three years on VFD, and one year on rubber and electrical parts
