FOXBORO P0961FX-CP60S | 32-bit RISC Real-Time CPU Unit for Critical Process Control

In modern process industries, the "central nervous system" of control systems must possess powerful computing power, deterministic response and ultimate reliability.

FOXBORO P0961FX-CP60S is precisely designed for this purpose - it is the main control CPU module of the I/A Series CP60S control processor station, undertaking the scheduling, computing and communication tasks of the entire control station.

Whether it is complex cascade loops, equipment interlocks, sequential control (SFC), or data exchange with operation stations, historical databases and other CP stations, all are processed in real time by this module.

Its core value lies in the high availability architecture and deterministic real-time performance.

In the standard deployment, two P0961FX-CP60S modules are installed in the CP60S rack in primary/standby mode, and the program status, variable data and I/O images are mirrored in real time through the high-speed synchronous bus.

Once the main module fails due to hardware failure, abnormal power supply or software lock, the backup module can seamlessly take over all control tasks within milliseconds, and the entire process is completely transparent to the on-site equipment and operators.

This "zero-interruption switching" capability makes it an ideal choice for high-risk processes such as catalytic cracking, ethylene cracking, and boiler combustion control.
