About 8256-009

Model 8256-009 is an actuator used as a speed control device for a range of engines. It is manufactured by Woodward and is part of the electric governor family. For a complete EPG system, an actuator, speed control and magnetic sensor are required. The product weighs less than 2 pounds and is compatible with gasoline and diesel engines. However, it may not be compatible with every type of engine speed system. The Model 8256-009 actuator can be used and stored in a temperature range of -40 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, and the corrosion-resistant material makes it a durable product. However, overheating is not recommended for these models.
