Emerson DeltaV™ S series serial interface
Product Description
The S series serial interface can be connected to DeltaV™ systems and devices that support serial protocols, such as Modbus or Allen Bradley’s Data Bus Plus. Provide preloaded Modbus software drivers for S series serial interfaces. DeltaV serial interfaces can also be installed as redundant pairs for critical applications that require the highest reliability.

Plug and play installation, saving money
Extend the service life of existing equipment
The interface automatically detects whether there are redundant power strips. The system automatically perceives the interface and regards it as a redundant pair
If a primary serial interface card fails, the system will automatically switch to the standby card without user intervention.
