The Yokogawa PW482-10 is a robust AC Input Power Supply Module designed specifically for the CENTUM VP and CENTUM CS 3000 Distributed Control Systems (DCS). 

It is a high-capacity unit responsible for providing stabilized DC power to the internal logic and field-side components of the system.

1. Introduction

The PW482-10 is an essential infrastructure module that can be installed in Field Control Units (FCU), FIO Node Units, and Optical ESB Bus Repeater Units.

 Unlike the PW481 (which is 100V-centric), the PW482 is typically used in regions or plants with 220-240V AC infrastructure.

 It is designed to operate in a dual-redundant configuration, ensuring that the control system remains online even if one power module or power feed fails.
