SYMAP® BAT is a multifunctional control and protection relay designed for modern hybrid energy systems.

2 It manages the interface between the battery (via power converters/inverters) and the main power grid or shipboard busbar.

Its primary role is to ensure the safe charging and discharging of batteries, maintain the "State of Charge" (SoC), and coordinate with other energy sources (like diesel generators or fuel cells) to optimize fuel efficiency and power stability. 

It bridges the gap between the Battery Management System (BMS) and the overall Power Management System (PMS).
