GE Fanuc VMIC analog-to-digital converter board VMIVME-3116 VMIVME-3116 The VMIC series of devices is a wide range of products with configurations of analog-to-digital converters and digital-to-analog converters, central processing units, and a series of analog and digital input and output modules. The VMIVME-3116 unit is part of its series of analog-to-digital converter boards. This specification has multiple functions. The device has a 16-bit resolution and can be jumper-selected to 15-bit or 14-bit resolution. The timing function of this device ranges between a conversion time of 17 microseconds for 16 bits. The optional high-speed conversion time is 10 microseconds. Then for 14 bits, the conversion time is 15 microseconds. With the high-speed optional setting, this conversion time becomes 8.75 microseconds. The VMIVME-3116 model is equipped with a setup and acquisition time of 26 microseconds. When the high-speed setting is in place, this time is reduced to 15 microseconds.
