 Combining a compact 3.8" display with the powerful communication capabilities of the UniOP family, it is a staple for localized machine control.

Introduction

The eTOP03-0046 features a 3.8-inch monochrome graphic display. Despite its small size, it delivers a high-resolution $frac{1}{4}$ VGA ($320 times 240$ pixels) interface that ensures clarity for text and basic graphics.

 It is specifically designed as a low-cost alternative for industrial environments, offering a rugged resistive touchscreen that can be operated with fingers, styluses, or gloves.

The eTOP03-0046 is the "Swiss Army Knife" of small-scale HMIs. Its most unique feature is the Portrait Mode operation, allowing the unit to be mounted vertically. 

This flexibility is rare for entry-level units and makes it the perfect fit for narrow enclosures or specialized vertical control pillars.

Installation and Maintenance

Mounting: Install into a $136 times 96$ mm cutout using the provided mounting clips. Ensure the gasket is flat to maintain the IP65 seal.

Calibration: If the touch response becomes unaligned, use the Emergency Calibration by tapping the center of the screen repeatedly during startup to enter the setup menu.

Cleaning: Use a soft cloth with neutral soap. Avoid harsh solvents (like acetone) which can damage the resistive membrane.

Battery: Uses a 3V Lithium battery (CR2430) for the Real-Time Clock; this is user-replaceable and should be checked every 3–5 years.
